Hi Guys, A few more pieces of wood for you to look over. This is my 13th posting (not that it matters but the # helps me keep track) of blanks native to my neck o' the woods, northern end of California......an hour south of Oregon and 3 hours east of the Pacific Ocean. Thank you all very much for your responses.

Would you do me a favor if you buy any of the below burls and please include a zip code in your first note. That would speed up the process a bit. Thanks.

I have dampened all the below pieces to show a simulated finish.

Okay, here they come:

Below, R 114. Redwood lace burl stopper blanks. Very good quality lace. Measues 1 1/2 x 1 1/2 x 2 1/2" plus a hair.... : ) There will be 4 half blanks in each of these little blocks if you choose. $4.00 each for one or all. They all came from the same larger block so they are of the same grade. I won't be able to sell separate blocks as I didn't number them. Maybe next time if needed. R114, $3.50 each.

CLOSED..........Below, R140, $10.00. Redwood lace and pinburl pen blanks. Half sapwood and half heart wood, measuring about 7/8 square by 5" plus. Very nice grain on these little blanks. These are not totally dry but working on it.










Below, R119, $9.00 Redwood lace burl block, measures 2 x 2 1/2 x 5". At least 4 thick blanks in this one or a good piece of "other things we make wood".




Below, R120, $9.00 Redwood lace burl block. Measures 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 x 5".

Below, R131, $9.00. Redwood lace burl block, very hard old growth type wood. The kind that "clinks" instead of "clunks" when you tap it on another piece of wood. : ) Measures 1 x 1 3/4 x 5". Very high quality wood. At least two great blanks here.

Below, B114, $4.00. Buckeye burl small slabs for pen holders, etc......some half blanks in these pieces too. Measures about 7/8 to 1 1/8 thick x 3 x 3 to 3 1/2 to 5 1/2" long.

CLOSED Below, M 76, $12.50. Manzanita burl half blanks, 3/4 x 3/4 x 2 1/2 to 4" long. These are pretty nice blanks. There will be a few cracks, etc. but I have separated them from the "casting" category.







CLOSED Below, I4, $6.00. Ironwood blanks, measures 3/4 x 3/4 x 5 to 5 1/2". "White out" line shows a crack in one.






CLOSED Below, I-18, $7.00. Ironwood filling, casting blanks. Measures 3/4 x 3/4 x 4 3/4 to 5 1/2" long.





Below, MB3, Myrtle burl blanks, $1.50 each. To my regular wood buddies who have seen this sale before, I did sell the original MB3 but have not had time to retake addtional pictures. I do have more nearly identical to these in color and intensity of burl. If you don't have to have pics, I'll sell the others (I think I have about 20 of them) for $1.50 each. Colors shown below, light and dark are actual variations. This wood is fairly hard and dense, really makes a pretty finish. 7/8 x 7/8 x 5 1/4". $1.50 each. ....MB3, $1.50 each

Below, RC3. Curly redwood spindle. $12.50. Measures 2 x 2 x 27".











CLOSED Below, B93, $12.50. Buckeye spalted block, not burl but wood from further up the trunk. Still has the pretty blue/yellow of spalted buckeye but no bark, voids, etc. commonly found in burl. Measures about 6 x 7 1/2 x 9 1/2".








Below, W1, $15.00. English walnut large turning block. This wood is not dry although the tree it came from had been down for a couple years. Measures about 4 3/4 deep x 10 1/2 x 11". Will fit in a large flat rate box so shipping will be $13.95, add cost of wood and total to anywhere will be $28.95.







Below, W2, $8.00. English walnut spindle blocks. Measures 2 1/8 x 2 1/2 x 10 1/4".




Below, W3, $12.50. English walnut spindle blocks. Measures: one @ 2 1/2 x 2 1/4 x 10" and 2 @ 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 x 12 3/4".
