Default Rockb's Manzanita burl, redwood, buckeye Part 10

Hi Folks, here are a few more pieces I'm hoping you can use. Pretty much a cross section of some of my favorites from pen blanks, to "other things we make wood". If you see something you like, please reply in the thread so the other guys will know what's taken. Include your zip and I'll take it from there. Thank you guys for the wood you've purchased in some of my other threads...I appreciate it. Rocky/rockb

M63, Five manzanita burl pen blanks, measures 3/4 x 3/4 x at least 5". Pics taken dry and wet. $12.50

M68, Five manzanita burl pen blanks, measures 3/4 x 3/4 x at least 5". Pics taken dry and wet. $12.50

M69, Six manzanita burl pen blanks, measures 3/4 x 3/4 x at least 5". Pics taken dry and wet. $12.50

m69a.JPGm69b.JPG

M70, approxiamtely 2 lbs of manzanita burl casting wood, mostly 3/4 thick x 5 to 7" long. $5.00

m70a.JPGm70b.JPG

M77, Manzanita whole burl, pressure washed, end sealed, measures about 7 x 7". This is semi dry, sap wood has rotted in places and there are visible cracks/checks. No way to tell what's inside.....part of the "fun" of manzanita. If you find anything with more than 4 legs....kill it... If there are rocks, voids, dirt, cracks, you're working on manzanita. ; ) $15.00

m77a.JPGm77b.JPGm77c.JPGm77d.JPG

M78, Manzanita whole burl, pressure washed, end sealed, measures about 6 x 6 x 7". 15.00

m78a.JPGm78b.JPG

M84, Manzanita burl slab measures about 2 3/4 thick x 6 1/2 and 9" wide. I did a little planing on this one to show the grain.....looking through my Woodmizer saw tracks is hard. : ( $15.00

m84a.JPG m84b.JPG

B11, Ten pieces of buckeye burl, about 3/8 x 1 1/2 x 5" give or take a hair. $7.50

b11a.JPG b11b.JPG

B12, Eight pieces of buckeye burl, 4 bookmatched pair with natural ends that will still have some old finish on the ends from a "previous life". : ) Measures about 3/8 thick x 1 3/4 wide x 5 1/2 to 7 1/2" long. $10.00

b12a.JPG b12b.JPG

B13, Eleven pieces of buckeye burl, 3/8 x 1 1/2 x 4 to 5" long. $7.50.

b13a.JPGb13b.JPG

B15, Three buckeye burl stopper blocks or 12 pen half blanks....up to you. Measures 1 1/2 x 1 1 /2 x 2 1/2" long. $7.50.

b15a.JPG b15b.JPG

B17, Three buckeye burl stopper blocks or 12 pen half blanks....up to you. Measures 1 1/2 x 1 1 /2 x 2 7/8" long. $7.50.

b17a.JPGb17b.JPG

B25, A little bundle of buckeye burl and redwood lace burl thin wood. Twelve pieces in all, will measure about 1/4 thick x 1 1/2 to 2 1/2" wide x 5 1/4" long. $12.50.

b25a.JPGb25b.JPG

B26, Twelve pieces of buckeye burl oversized half blanks, measures about 7/8 square x 2 1/2 to 3" long. $12.50

b26a.JPGb26b.JPG

RP 1 to 9, Redwood lace burl pen blanks......very nice blanks...VERY poor pics..sorry about that. Measures about 7/8 x 7/8 x 6" long. Buy 'em one at a time by the "white out" number for $4.00 each. Some of the "ends" appear lighter in color..that's because of end sealer that soaked in and affects the wet pics.....there's nothing wrong with the wood.

R170, Old growth redwood burl block, lots of pen blanks in here or maybe a nice bowl. This wood is hard, came from a root wad that had been submersed for a long time. Has some nice dark staining that may/may not have been caused by being submersed. Measures 5 x 6 x 6". $24.00

R171, Old growth redwood burl block, lots of pen blanks in here or maybe a nice bowl. This wood is hard, came from a root wad that had been submersed for a long time. Has some nice dark staining that may/may not have been caused by being submersed. Measures 5 x 6 x 6". $24.00 .........and yes, R170 and R171 are bro/sis.....really sorta hard to tell. ; )
