Hi Guys, Here's an assortment of pen blanks, mostly buckeye burl, some redwood, manzanita and a few ironwood. If you want one....... reply in the thread, include your zip.... I'll take it from there. Thanks a lot to you folks who have bought from me before..I appreciate it. Rocky/rockb

BTW, to everyone who buys one of these sales, I'm going to add a blank of California nutmeg. It's not the spice nutmeg but Torreya Californica. Light vanilla yellowish colored, considered scarce but not endangered, smells really nice when turned (at least I like it), finishes really well. The Japanese version, Torreya nucifera, is highly sought after for making the Go game board (it's a game like chess) . More than you wanted to know is here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Go_(game) I'd like opinions on these blanks as I can get more if you guys like 'em.

BP37, Buckeye burl pen blanks, eleven pieces measures 3/4 x 3/4 x at least 5". I'd class these as "B" grade (if there is such a thing) because they do have some flaws, voids, or maybe not enough color that I expect from a prime blank. To some of you creative guys, these might find a good home. $8.00.

MPB1, Manzanita burl casting blanks, measures about 3/4 x 3/4 x 5" long....look for the cracks, voids, etc.....did I say they're casting blanks? Yep, there's a story there..don't ask. ; ) $6.00

MPB3, Manzanita burl half blanks, 12 pieces, pretty nice little blocks. Measures about 3/4 x 3/4 x at least 2 1/2 to 4ish long. $9.00

RP3, Redwood old growth burl pen blanks....very nice, very hard.......the kind that "klinks" instead of "klunks" when you tap 'em together. Buy 'em one at a time for 4.00 each.

RP21, Redwood lace burl pen blanks, very tight lace, 3/4 x 3/4 x at least 6" long. Softer than the above but a different grain too. $7.50 for all three.
