Default High Quality Screw Driver Shanks for Sale w/ free shipping

Turners,

I got in a sample of affordable shanks to evaluate and i am so impressed with them that i plan on making a heirloom box set of screw drivers for my Dad. I will post some pics soon in the "other things we make section"

To be honest i was pretty surprised when i got these in that these days all you see is the flood of inferior chinese nickel plated screw drivers which have pressed tips like the ones you see at HF.

I will be offering these into the future.

Blessings!
Craig

Details

These shanks are high quality pieces made in Taiwan. Each steel shank is stamped "Chrome Vanadium" with a hardened ground tip.

Turn a set of Rosewood or Walnut handles and you will have a heirloom set which will last a lifetime (if not abused).

I will include free ferrules so that you will end up with a very professional looking piece!

Pricing

Item #1 - 3 Piece "Flat Head" Set - $15 w/ free US shipping
3/16" Flat head shank (3/16" hole)
1/4" Flat head shank (1/4" hole)
5/16" Flat head shank (5/16" hole)

Item #2 - 3 Piece "Phillips Head" Set - $15 w/ free US shipping
#1 Phillips head shank (3/16" hole)
#2 Phillips head shank (1/4" hole)
#3 Phillips head shank (5/16" hole)

Please post your order below and I will PM you with my PayPal details.

5-Easy Steps to Follow to Make a Set:

This set is turning out to be really fun to make!

1) Turn a custom handle with a tenon, similar in nature to a euro pen, as you create the tenon test the fit using the provided ferrule.

2) Drill 1-1/2" deep hole (the size listed above) into the tenon.

3) Add some gorilla glue into the hole and onto the area of the tenon.

4) Slide the ferrule over the "anti-twist" flares on the shank.

5) Press the shank into the hole and slide the ferrule over the tenon.

Finished now post a pic on IAP!!
