Default Is There A way???

I probably should know this for I have been here long enough but never saw this question. Is there a way to save a thread for future use so that you do not need to do a search. ??? Thanks.

Only thing that comes to mind is saving a link to your favorites on your browser.

On the mobile app there is a circle with a check mark at the top of the screen next to the title of the post. You can check that circle and it will save it to a folder called “Subscribed”.

You can subscribe to it and then it will be in your subscribed threads area thingy.

You could try subscribing to the thread. (2nd top dark blue bar ->thread tools) The system will then save those threads and you can access them in your user control panel.

Or do like I sometimes do, just C/P and email it to yourself.

Edit in - Curt types faster! :)

This was the way I was thinking and then save to a folder in my email. Will need some thought for sure.

I copy the URL of any thread along with any pertinent info I want to reference back to and send myself an email. These I save in a folder in my email account in a folder. This is my personal note taking system. If it is about something that I have saved before, I may start a document, and keep notes from different source all on the same document.

If you go to your control panel ("User CP" in the blue bar under the IAP logo), in the left hand column you will see "Subscribed threads // Edit Folders".

Make a folder, call it (for example) "Reminders". Then you can choose to subscribe to a thread and store that subscription in this handy place (separate from all the other threads that you might reply to). You can move thread links from the regular subscriptions list to your own folder, and can choose to turn off notifications if you wish.

Thanks everyone. Looks like email is the thing. I know on some sites you have a link to your favorites and can save any thread or photo. But it is a different system than this.

Drag the url of the thread to a folder? The method varies by browser, but definitely the simplest.
