Default Watch Part Blanks

I've wanted to try making a watch part blank so I'm gathering a few items to use. I have watch parts but they are dull looking. What can I use to clean them?

What do you mean by dull?? If they are brass and tarnished that sometimes is a good look to. Tarnish any gears along with that and there you go. Do not over think it. Especially if it is a first or second. learn from your experience. Have fun. Many people today are doing watch part pens.

Jewelry cleaner? Comes with a basket and a brush. Read the label!
