Tap and Die sizes?

What tap and die sizes do the kitless folks find most useful? Do you have a basic list of stuff needed to upgrade from mandrel turning?

Never mind found a chart and I think I might be better off on my own.

Thanks Ptown good thread, unfortunately it is better than my current knowledge level. I think I have figured out enough to get me started in what I want to do first, kitless roller-balls. Half the fun is the challenge and learning new things. I am thinking for what I want to do now a 1/4 inch and a 3/8 inch fine tap and die set will do well.
