Tap/die for oversized pen

Does anyone know where I can get tap/die set larger than 14mm. Maybe 15mm or 16mm. I would like to make a postable oversize pen 11/16 diameter body with a postable cap without having to significantly taper the body. Thanks in advance.

Hi Propencity,
If you can't get anything, let me know, as Metric is the preferred thread down under. Do you have an idea as to what pitch you'd like.
11/16" is 17.462 mm.
If you use a 16 X 1.5 tap, you need tapping drill is 14.5, basic effective diam 15.026 and basic minor diam of Ext thread 14.376

" " " 14 X 1.5 12.5 13.026 12.376
" " " 14 X 2 12 12.701 11.835
Major diameters are 16 and 14 for the tenons. 15mm taps are not commercially available, but would need to be specially made.

Victor.net is the first place I would look. They have metric taps and dies in the 15 and 16mm ranges with 1mm pitch. They list their dies seperatly from their taps so make sure they have both in stock.
