Push mechanism

I was looking at Schmidt click mechanisms and noticed this, which is called a push mechanism on Richards site. On Milan pens it's labeled as a click mechanism for small diameter pens skm192. What is is?

Its mechanically the same as the chrome ones. It has the same style shaft and ball but the shaft is glued or pressed into what ever material you want to use as the button on top of the pen. The threaded part screws in from the bottom rather than in from the top like the chrome click pieces. It effectively is hidden from view when used.
