Clip mechanism query

There is one particular pen type- plastic body with a closed end steel or aluminum drawn tube cap. Example Hero, Wing Sung, Sheafers, Pilots etc.

The clip fits in through one slit at the top of the cap tube.

How is the clip secured and the spring action ensured ?

Can any one help to to locate a drawing or text explaining this aspect?
