Ok, here we go.... This one was a hard week for all who had to choose, great bunch of pens to choose from. However, in the end, it had to come down to just one top guy and his companion.

Those are two of my absolute favorite pens I have ever seen. I never liked the emperor pen until I saw this one. Then, given the fact that I used to tie flies for my fishing trips to the mountains, I love the feathers!

I'd love to see some more photographs of those two pens. Any chance Shane and Richard would favor us with some close ups and additional angles? Those are sweet pieces of craftsmanship. Excellent work, men.

I know Shane has a multi-page write up on his web-site on how to make that very pen. It may be in the archives for files as well. I have a lot of feathers here just waiting to give that a try!
