Here are a couple of whistle key chains that I finished tonight. Top is flame box elder. Bottom is x-cut zebrawood and purpleheart.

Nice. Is that the style that also has a hidden compartment in it? I made one of those for my daughter when she went to college and put a couple $20.00 bills inside. The whistle was for protection when walking across campus at night. Unfortunately, the whistle sound was pretty puny and would not get attention more than five feet away.

I make a lot of those for my booth... they go pretty fast. I like the "secret compartment" ones best because they are a little bigger and easier to make.

If you put the wind into the whistle, it's pretty loud..
