A friend who wanted a sword for a group he is in came by and we did this in about three days (3 very long and very hot days) Working a forge in the Arizona summer is hot work. Anyway sword is about 4' long the handle is local juniper. Just keeping busy I guess.....

That's pretty awesome. Being a desert rat myself, I can appreciate the hours spent working in this heat. I quit by noon and I'm nowhere near a forge. I commend you for being able to go through with the job in these temps. I don't really drink myself but if you do you certainly deserved a cold one afterwards.
