Watch parts wine stopper

This is the 2nd of a set of wine stoppers I am making for this years shows. I was able to make a bit small than my 1st effort. Still haven't come up with a price that will allow me to make a reasonable profit & still be acceptable to shoppers.

That is very attractive ... well done.

I am wondering if there is more than one watch face ... looks like there could be .... or maybe it is just the optics of the clear resin that gives that impression.

Just another little thing .... for some reason, to me, the visibility of the internal threads does not complement the beauty of the watch face.

I am wondering if the bottle stopper could be made with a black or red (for example) bottom to hide the threads and thereby allow your eye to focus on the watch parts ?

Also, is that a Niles bottle stopper ?

Mal, it is a Niles 'cork'. I've been working on a black base, haven't gotten one to turn out the way I want. I'm thinking of painting the threads & and coloring epoxie ... Only one dial, there are gears behind it ...
