Relatively new to turning and I didn't have the cash to get any pen kits or wood recently so I turned out some wands from scraps I had laying around.

They look good and they are great for practice. I really like the on the right. What material is the white section? Acrylic or maybe Corian?

It is a scrap piece of acrylic from a pen I turned. I don't throw them away. That wand is one i just did last weekend. It is walnut with a scrap of 1/4" plywood for the handle and the wand part is teak. I don't really go in with a plan, it just kinda becomes whatever it lets me do. My version of the wand chooses the wizard.
