Walnut Pepper Mill

My second Pepper mill, made for a Christmas present. I've been Tempted to keep for myself. The second mill was a lot easier than the first, but i still had some correctable mistakes. I did some more shaping on the top because i wasn't happy with the way the top looked, and ended up taking to much off, so the rod that goes up through the middle was a tad to long. The dremel tool fixed that. This is just an awesome piece of wood, it's hard to get a picture that captures it. Finish is tung oil.

Nice finish! What did you put as finish and how many coat?

Here I had three coats of tung oil. Added two more coats after the pictures were taken.
