Last month I demonstrated for our club meeting. One of the items was the antique peppermills and how I mount them for quick turning with access to both ends. I decided to recess the Walnut grinder and top mount the other for the demo.
These are from Walnut and Curly Maple. I think the bodies are just a tad large in diameter but will fit someone with large hands. Normally, I would like them to be a little bit smaller. It is good if you know the recipient and can make the pepper mills for their grip.
Finish is TY Oil Finish inside and out.
