MT1811.101 Front B (2) IAP.101 Front B (2).jpgIn between pens and regular segmented bowls, I like to do the beaded illusion platters and bowls. As long as I don't fall asleep as I'm wood burning the lines or coloring in the "beads" I am in good shape.

Saw this demonstrated at the GA symposium last year. Interesting, intriguing and taking a lot of patience. My complements.

Looks great! As others have already quoted, that looks like it will require lots of patience...

Thanks all for the comments. I only work on them a little at a time, no more than two hours straight, before taking a break. My eyes get tired and I lose concentration. I found it is really hard to undo a burned line or colored bead. I have about thirty hours or so in this one, but they are good projects when the shop is too cold to work in.
