here are my latest rings both made out of black walnut.. all that is left is for the jeweller to polish the inside of the ring.

The second ring is a scavenged ring... the strips were some kind of leather which I just took off and replaced with wood

Let me know what you think critics, comments and questions are welcome

There are plenty of tutorials on how to make a Brentwood or a full wood ring. I did my own research and came up with my own way of doing things. I'll try and make one soon

Very nice work! This is something I have tried (unsuccessfully) a couple of times.

What kind of metal on the first one, and how were you able to get the inlay channel in it?

The first one is made of silver. Both of the rings are bentwood rings so it's a strip of veneer that I wrap around the ring. I did cut a strip as wide as the inlay space and glued the strip in place with ca glue.
