I picked up a couple key chain knife kits thinking I'd like to give them a try. Here's my first. A gold kit made from Sapele.

Steve, does that blade just pop out, slide out, or do you pull the insides out and insert in reverse? That piece of wood on the left looked like Mahogany to me, thanks for showing it.

Nope, the wood is Sapele and the both pics are the same knife. The blade screws out then reversed. I don't remember the bit size, it's slightly bigger than 1/2". I'll look and report back later.

19/32 INCH DRILL BIT, got them at CSUSA

I bought the full size ring, but ment to buy the compact. Didn't see it when I ordered the other. Oh well. :)

Those things are cool... I made a few for some shows last year in Houston.. they were pretty popular. Kids were fascinated with them, but couldn't sell to them. I made one from deer horn.. heavy as H... but was really nice.

Good job.
