I saw the drawings for this square in a magazine and could not resist giving it a go. Everything went pretty well considering this was a first attempt. Comments always welcome. Any suggestions as to how to do better next time.

I don't see any room for improvement. I thought you were showing us the image you saw in the magazine!

Maybe on the next one, you could add graduations down the blade. Imperial on one side and metric on the opposite side.
That would be useful for setting blade heights and table heights for saws and DP.
Just a thought.

Beautiful work. The only thing I would add would be a piece of brass to the bottom side of the wood like on the top side to ensure the wood edge did not get damaged. But again, gorgeous work.
