Something a little bigger than a pen

A friend of mine asked for a tap handle and he's a huge ECU Pirates fan.

The medallion was a pewter Christmas ornament and we ground off the upper ring to give a nice round oversized medallion.

Hard maple and purple heart left over from a cutting board build.

Overall size is about 12" with the top hat and ferrule

Tape it to the outside. I'll send along a length of masking tape for the job :biggrin:

hehe ... yes, I know what a beer tap handle is for.

That thing looks awesome, I'm sure he'll adore putting it through it's paces repeatedly ..... try not to get too drunk to walk home after he's had you help him do exactly that, k?

Nice work, but in the written part I had in my mind a handle for a tap as in tap and die. When the pic popped up, I was trying to figure out why it was the way it was???
