Default slicing polyclay canes

This is not one of my best canes so I use it for practice and experimenting.
I put a short section of this in the freezer for about 12 hours.
I was able to slice it about 1/2 the thickness of a dime with very little distortion and the thickness is more consistent than before. I have been wondering if this would help so I had to try it.
Oh yea, it's a secret so don't tell anyone!
