Well, wood not glass. But that's what I was going for.

Another project to while away the time until USPS could figure out where my pen kits went.
I don't know what wood it is, I randomly pulled the block out of the scrap bin we have for shipping wood.
Since I don't have a chuck, I turned down one side to an m2 taper and it in snugly.
This was the third one I made, and it turned out real well. Which surprised me.

What's the best thing to apply to them going on that will be resistant to alcohol?
I've been told beeswax works alright, but I'm not to sure.

CA, when cured, is pretty much water and alcohol proof stuff ... coat over top of that with bees wax for an extra layer of protection (inside and out) and you should be good to go.


Rinse it with water and then wipe clean with a soft towel... don't subject it to any kind of heat or really cold temperatures, and don't let it soak anywhere.
