Made a traditional round seam ripper for wifey and after using it she suggested making one which wouldn't roll off her table.
Geez, why didn't I think of that :rolleyes:

Good idea. Made one for my brother-in-law who makes awesome quilts. Got the kit from Woodcraft; said it was the sharpest one he has ever used.

I've made a bunch of seam rippers and I may imitate the no roll option. That's a great idea. One other thing I've done is use a larger blank for seam rippers. I've made a lot using 1.25" blanks so the finished product is larger than a pen. There are a lot of older quilters and sewers near me and they appreciate the larger size for arthritic hands.
