Scratch Awls - Fish Spike?

The customer who commissioned the scotch case a few years ago asked me to make him two scratch awls. I think he will use them to subdue unruly fish after bringing them in deck. I used bloodwood and he should love them. I used 8 coats of EZ Bond thin for finish, sanded with 1000 grit and Beale Buffed them.

Beautiful awls. And I love the Scotch Box. laphroaig 10... The best thing about it is my wife won't touch it; she's from Bourbon country. Me however :drink:
