I have been working on this scalloped edge bowl on & off for a couple of weeks! Finally figured out to keep gouge extremely sharp and that it is not a sin to start finishing with "80 grit gouge"! Also, found a 2" sander for drill with the velcro stuff on it & sanded thru 320 with it. I also found a radius sander that I think I bought @ Waco at the SWAT Symposium. I think it came from the Little Ripper folks out of Canada...I need more sanding refills for it..Does anyone know where it may have come from?? (Memory loss is not fun)

I forgot to mention that it is Maple, 3" x 10". The top rim is segmented Ambrosia Maple and I am finishing it with Min Wax Wipe-On Poly.
