Got this one finished the other day, after having to make an extension for my Cole Jaws, just not big enough. Sanded to 400.
This piece measures 12in x 2in and the finish is spray can Lacquer.
As usual, C&C welcome.

Hi Bob,

That is not the easiest burls to turn, you were somehow lucky that the burl wasn't as open as some, and as the one I turned in that 3 piece commissioned job last year, one of the hardest things is to prevent pieces from it break out and fly away however, the final results are always spectacular and yours, is no exception, great shape and finish...!:wink:
