This razor set was a custom order for a customer that wanted a safety razor. I didn't realize they were even available. The safety razor is actually kind of neat looking. I cast all the blanks myself for this set and it's hard to tell them apart from the ones I've bought from Exotic Blanks. That increases my profit margin. Sweet!

The only problem is.......the kit is so nice I would probably keep it...and leave it in a display cabinet. Beautifully done.

Wonderful set. I appreciate the detail to have complimentary accent rings and profiles. Not the easiest, but was well executed.

Nice! I actually have as a goal of mine to get to the point of being able to make a set like that for myself some day. I was looking at one of the catalogs my brother recommended as he was bribing me to get started with this and that caught my eye. I have used safety razors and brushes for years because I'm a real cheapskate.

So why am I joining this hobby?

I have been shaving for over 50 ears and have tried just about every shaving system that's come out. I love a safety razor so I made one that I will take to market on Saturday but if no one buys it, it's mine. Wood is blackjack oak I got from a local friend. Hard as nails but sure is pretty.
