Those are beautiful Cody. I suspect a few challenges presented themselves. BTW, I love your non-pen turnings (your pens are awesome as well :tongue:), looks like you are having fun. I hope to follow that path later this year.

Those are gorgeous. Question from my wife, a woman who likes her wine: can you actually use these for wine? Is the wood protected and does the acidity of the wine cause any problems?

I am not an expert by any means. Based on what I've read, most woods are not toxic in and of themselves and the toxicity is decreased by the use of a food safe finish. Rosewood can be an irritant and some people are sensitive to it. That having been said, I would not consider these appropriate for everyday use. I am sure there other other woods can be used.
