Today, my daughter and I played in the driveway and made shavings....and sawdust. She works at a garden center and decided she wanted some planter boxes for all the succulent plants she has been bringing home.
She got two pallets from work and we made ten planter boxes.
The pallet boards were 5/8" rough poplar which we ripped to 5 3/4". Boxes are modular sized for various arranging. 7", 14", and 28".
It was a very good day!
Note: Plants in last photo are some of her rescue plants from the work trash dumpster.

Working on a project with a son or daughter is so rewarding and fun. You can see the satisfaction in your faces.

AND I LOVE THE PICK OVERALLS SHE'S WEARING!! (I got my grand-daughter a pink rifle!)
