Purple saturn box,Wifes Birthday gift

I came across this style of box in the book Turning Boxes with Richard Raffan.I saw a picture of one and immediatly thought of this chunck of purpleheart I had.Like a man I didn't go "by the book" or use templates or drawings or rulers.It's a little out of shape,probably should have used those things, but she digs it just fine."That's going in the fair!"she exclaimed.Daughter got a little sad and said "what about mine"
