I needed to light my display table and they did not have AC power for me. I decided to make a portable power supply the power to the 2-12.5 watt LED (100 watt equivalent) lights. Here is what I made. It is a 35 amp hour car battery and a 500 watt inverter in a carry case. The tote is constructed of three-quarter inch plywood and attached to the outside is a 500 watt inverter.

The handle WAS a 2x4 before it met my lathe.

Here is a quick view of the table lit up. It will not look like this in a month when I arrive at the show.

All I use for a temporary 12 volt power source, is my battery booster pak. It's what I use for my light source at the camp, it's a lot better then having to listen to a generator running.
