I have been quite busy this year making "cedar plugs" from exotic woods other that cedar. A fisherman sent me some unusual blanks to use to make his unique fishing plugs. I know the wood is diagonally cut and required great care to turn. It is not segmented. Let me know the species and perhaps a vendor for it.

Your best bet is to talk to the person that sent the blanks to you...!

The effects and colourations could be one of my stabilised and dye woods, such as the Golden Wattle but, I'm not sure.

Cheers

My first thought is Ambrosia Maple that has been stabilized and dyed. I like the color and look of those!
