Just plain and simple made from a board that was two pieces of contrasting color 3/4" thick wood glued together .
In spite of it's simplicity it sells very good compared to ones made with only one color of wood and also because of it's lower price than the fancier ones .

Two woods

Far Far from plain and simple. Very nice work, thanks for the pic.

By the way how did you get the two different trees to grow together?

William,
Another winner there! I like it!

Have you thought about using a morticing chisel in a drill press and putting a square peg in that round hole? Maybe on a 45?
Just a thought!....I have those every so often!

VERY nice bowl W.Y.!!! I really liked the simplicity of your design/turning! Although not a proponent of segmented turnings, I do like you turning and finish alot!
Thanks for sharing and safe turning!
