Wifey has a turned wooden pastry tool in the kitchen drawer that is used to form pastry into the small muffin or tart pans. This one was from a large kitchen supply company and the turning was just basic....plain Jane. I decided to make one and jazz it up a bit, this one is turned from some curly maple with a mineral oil finish. It is much more interesting than the store bought one.
