While waiting for some epoxy to cure on a couple of pens, I turned this bowl out of padauk today. It's approx 6" (15cm) across and a bit under 2" (5cm) high. It's finished with Craft Coat.

And a couple of detail rings on the bottom

Thanks for looking!

I like this a lot! The form is great and the finish with the open grains looks very appealing to me. Nice.

Very nice bowl... love the look of Paduak, but have to be careful with it... I turned some a year or so back and then broke out in a rash all across my upper chest... not sure if from the Paduak or not, but don't do much with it now.

That is a beautiful bowl. Well done. It does fascinate me that you turned it "While waiting for some epoxy to cure on a couple of pens" Just how slow does your epoxy cure? I wish I could turn a beautiful bowl that quickly.
