That is a real cool candle holder... I like it.....
I actually downloaded the picture as a future go-by.. hope you don't mind..
What is the wood and how is it finished??

I'm assuming you turned it like a bowl and then cut away the sides to create the nice arch??

I do not turn it like a bowl. I start from a rectangle and I turn the
final form. that shakes a little the tool at the ends but it is very
pleasant.
you can reproduce it, that pleases to me.[:I]
after it is necessary to make it evolve.[:D]
