I think the emblem in between the N and Z is a representation of the indigenous Maori fertility carving.

It is Maori Tiki appears on many things such as ladies necklaces as badge on a Coat also as part of Carving on Meeting House's, & wood panels inside the building and the legends of the Tribes genealogy. Not generally as fertility symbol but any thing is possible in Maori Mythology. Bazz
