This is my first Mach 3 razor and a simpler stand sans shaving brush - Lava Explosion "Alchemy" blank. This is now my "daily driver". I've read that fewer razor strokes means less irritation and since the Mach 3 only has 3 blades compared to the Giletter Fusion's 5 it only stands to reason that there are fewer razor blade strokes with the Mach 3. I haven't used it enough to offer an opinion, but the smaller cartridge is easier to maneuver under my nose and they're also less expensive.
