....so I made this shallow bowl. It measures 9 inches in diameter by 3 inches deep.

Lots of figure in about 2/3 of the blank. It was "interesting" to turn and finish, and I like the way it came out.

Your observations are most welcome!

The pen is a .7 mm Posca pen

I was at my daughter's house, where rock painting and hiding is all the craze.

The pen is a PC-1M pen and you can find them at www.posca.com. I tried using a vibrating pen, but didn't have enough control. The pen is a paint pen, and seems to work well for me. The surface needs to be quite flat; you will notice a bit of a problem on the signature where the surface wasn't perfect.
