Well Bill, you don't know what you are going to get until you try. I think you came out with something quite unusual and something I have never seen before. Should be an easy sell !! Jim S

You are the master at those bowls. That one looks great! That's an interesting bottom on that one. I think it gives it a bit more character.

Thanks Guys..
I cut the segments for two at the same time when I made that first one . Only difference is I put walnut strips in the first one shown earlier and I just now finished off the second one with padauk strips . Here they are side by side .
Since then there has been an 8 page discussion in my Woodworking Friends site on ways to cut segments like that as well as another three page discussion on the same topic and I have learned how to make the segments all even at the bottom.
Working on a couple that will be slightly different than these . Will post pictures when I get around to gluing up the segments .
