We're allowed 6 pieces in the local art guild show.... I've decided to show these pieces... my display racks that I use for the show have 8 shelves, so I may add the last two pieces if allowed... otherwise, the show coordinators may use a couple of my shelves for another artist...
The lidded hollow form is about 7 1/2" dia by 9 inches overall height with the lid. Finish is polyurethane.
The wine glasses are spectraply confetti and about 9 inches tall.
The walnut bowl is just over 10 1/2 dia by 4 inches deep.
The little vase is just over 7 1/2 inches tall. The lamp is white oak and has the glass oil reservoir buried in the turning. It's about 16" over all height.
The little hollow form is a about 6 inches dia by about 5 inches high and turned from Royal Paulownia wood.

If they'll let me I also plan to have the black wine glasses.. they are on Spectraply Ebony and are about 8 1/2 inches tall.
The last piece I'll show if they will allow the extra pieces is a 9 1/2 inch bowl from Bradford Pear.

Love the spalted lidded hollow form . Maple ? Are you allowed to sell the items , or is it show and tell only ?

We can sell after the show, since it's in a community church they won't allow sales on the floor... year before last I had some good sales after the show... several people wanted pieces I had at the show.... I skipped last year because the wife was in the hospital.

This is mostly an exhibition show.

And a little boast..

I submitted all my pieces to the Art Guild and was allowed to show all 8 pieces... the reception was Friday night and what a surprise when I showed up that evening.... the guild had a professional judge come in before hand and look over the exhibit... the judge awarded 5 ribbons throughout the show... one of my pieces earned one of the ribbons as an honorable mention...

And as I walked in I was accosted by an art patron that wanted information on the Bradford Pear bowl I had "slipped in" to the show.... because it was an extra, it wasn't in the brochure and didn't have an ID card attached... I sold it on the floor, but can't deliver until after the show tomorrow night.
