more maple lace

Three more maple lace burl winged bowls. I really enjoy this wood. It is like opening a Christmas present you never know what the grain is like inside. The finish is orange oil and bees wax this leaves th wood with a smooth satin feel.
I added little chips of turquoise to two of the bowls after watching a Jimmy Clewes video. He said people will pick up a bowl and turn it over I watched and they do that. The little chips are like a "treasure they discover".
The last bowl is one I returned the thin out the walls and deepen it.

Bob thanks for the laugh yes all fingers are accounted for but do have a new groove on the back of my hand
