mesquite box

Had a lady want a box from mesquite. A cabinet maker friend of mine helped me but here is the finished product. The finish is orange oil and beeswax hand rubbed. The handle on top is a piece of black walnut. The knot hole was filled with a mix of fine sanding dust and espresso grounds with CA.

5" high 10" long and 3 1/2" wide.
