Magic Mushrooms

I spent the day yesterday with a turner that is 90% blind. We did alot of casting, turning, and talking. He opened my eyes as to turning with scraps. So today I spent a little bit in the shop and had fun turning these Magic Mushrooms. Just sanded with 220 and BLO finish. These were a hoot to make.

Sometimes you just need something fun to turn, other than pens :biggrin:

Looks like a fun day yesterday, and then back home.

As you expect, I agree that the friendship we enjoy is more meaningful than what we do. Thanks to Chuck, Wayne, Ernie two years ago.

Oh, the Magic Mushrooms looked a ... bit different than I imagined...
