Last week got in a little putter time in the shop ... these bowls are all spalted Sycamore except number 4... it's spalted Poplar. They vary in size from about 7 1/2 inches to 11 inches. Not sure which now, but several have been cored from the larger bowls using my Woodcut coring tool...

These are all raw, just a single coat of sanding sealer... they need to be sanded out again, another coat of sanding sealer applied, then several coats of wipe on poly.... as soon as I can get more time in the shop, will finish them.

looks like it came out of
158370
, or vice versa, depending on size ... The colors of the wood grain and spalting are quite similar ...

I would also draw the conclusion that
158367
may have been cored out of
158368
which came out of
158366
, based on similar grain color and spalt patterns ... again, depending on size.

The poplar one looks very nice! :)

That's a whole lot of puttering in the shop. That's advanced puttering.

They look great though, I cant wait to begin bowls, just got my first chuck and jaws from the Woodworking Shows.
