Default Jobillo Platter

First I should mention that in some of my previous posts I've been mis-spelling this wood, it is not Jubillo but is Jobillo.

This platter started as a 12" square by 1" thick board and finished out at 11.5" in diameter and 7/8" thick. Finished with Danish oil

This also is excellent! I love the colors. The form is very nicely done, as are the accents.

(See I did look at Brian G's statement in the "Cool Kid's hangout" thread....)


That is an awesome platter. Love the color against the spalting!

Gorgeous wood. Love the contrasting shades.
Like the thin platter too. You did the wood good!!

Very nice but my preference would have been to reverse the top and base .
