I watched a demo by Bob Nolan of Bay Area Woodturners Association at our monthly meeting of West Bay Woodturners. His demo covered basket illusions. After seeing his demo, I went out and bought some poplar nad turned a few pieces. Some came out good, others not so much. This a pair that I recently finished.

They came out well and I am sure you learned many new techniques. They are quite a bit of work but the finish product is very well done. Hope you continue and improve on them as you go. Thanks for showing.

I haven't researched the process...yet, but I will. Seems like something like this would be very time consuming. Very nice!!!
