I am about to turn a handle for my son's shaving brush out of some really nice walnut.

What do I 'glue' the brush in with? Is there any difference between the 5-minute epoxy strength and others that take longer to cure?

Thank you in advance....

I use Epoxy as well. I do try and use an UV resistant brand. Otherwise if you have any squeeze out it'll turn a yellowish amber color over time. Might not be an attractive look.

Here it is!

I turned this from some walnut that was a blank for a rifle stock that I purchased long before I started turning things. It was beautiful, so I hoped it would turn out well for this purpose.

I had my son come over and tell me what he wanted it to look like.

It was tricky to get the finish on with the little cuts near both ends. We worked on finishing it for quite a while. After the normal CA finish finally worked, we buffed it out with a system I purchased from Barry Gross at a recent show.

I used 5 minute epoxy to glue the brush in; thanks for your suggestions!
